IT
HAD TO BE YOU

zany actress in search of career auditions for a commercial. She
doesn't get the part, but she does meet a producer, and they share a
cab to her apartment. She tricks him into coming up to her
apartment, where she seduces him. When he wakes up, he realizes
she intends to hold him hostage until he either agrees to help write a
play, falls in love with her....or both. A
great night to spend with two entertaining characters.

FOOD
CHAIN
An
anorexic calls a suicide prevention hotline for no apparent reason at
all. After irritating the operator, she finally admits that she is
depressed because her husband of 10 days has disappeared for two weeks
(they have known each other for a week prior to marriage). When
her husband finally reappears, chaos unravels when she finds out where
he's been. Include a male model, his ex-boyfriend, and lots of
witty dialogue and you have a laugh filled night. Not

WE,
THE PEOPLE
The Barn Theatre lends the state to C.P.S. High School's Theatre 13,
so they may bring their musical production from last fall into the
warmth of summer. It is a perfect fit for the holiday weekend, as
it mixes patriotism, diversity, acceptance, and musical talents into a
show fit for the entire family.
