THE NORTH COTTAGES
These cottages are 3.75 miles north of the Lexington light off of M-25 (Lakeshore Road). The cottages are nearly a quarter of a mile from the road and are spaced away from one another to provide peace and privacy. If you click on the link below, it will show the general layout of the property (not to scale). All cottages have cable TV and at least 1 fan. Kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, cups, glasses, silverware and more! Bathrooms in Cottage 1, 2, 3 & 4 have a bathtub with a shower. Cottage 5 & 6 each have a stand up shower. Cottage 1 and 2 have 3 bedrooms. Cottage 3, 4, 5 and 6 each have 2 bedrooms. All cottages have a charcoal grill. There is no smoking in any cottage. We ask that you leave the cottage clean including dishes being washed, the floors swept and/or vacuumed and the bathroom clean. Quiet time is 11 PM - 8 AM. Please respect the people in other cottages.
There is 100' of private beach for your use. Lake Huron's bluff is very low here allowing easy access by a wooden ramp and short stairway. There is also a landing with built-in seating - a wonderful spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the freights go by - especially at night. The shared bonfire pit on the beach awaits good times. If you are the last person leaving the fire, please make sure the fire is out. Michigan law allows walking the shoreline provided that you don't turn in to others' property. So feel free to explore to your heart's content. If you get chairs or floaties out of the boat house, please put them back when you are done. If its windy, please put the umbrellas down and the chairs back in the boat house. There are 3 common decks with a bench and/or table, chairs and umbrellas that overlook the lake for your peace and tranquility. Enjoy!
